When going into the library isn't possible, patrons can still stay informed! With remote access, Saluda County Library can help play an essential role in the community by providing 24/7 access to NewsBank's relevant, wide-ranging information.


NewsBank consolidates current and archived information from thousands of newspaper titles, as well as newswires, web editions, blogs, videos, broadcast transcripts, business journals, periodicals, government documents and other publications.


First time logging into Saluda County Library's wonderful new 'News Bank'? Place "200940" in the Library Card or Student ID Field to access Ameria's News.


You can search for any news paper you like but there are some local news paper links placed on the main page for your convenience. Such as the Saluda Standard Sentinel, The State, or The Index-Journal.
